Data-deletion instructions

Submit a request

1. Email privacy@checkcas.com with the subject AutoChat data-deletion request.
2. Identify the Facebook Page you contacted and provide enough detail to locate the interaction, such as your Facebook display name and the approximate date of the conversation. Do not email passwords, access tokens, or government identity documents.
3. Complete a reasonable identity-verification step if requested. We use verification only to avoid deleting another person's data.

What happens next

The operator will acknowledge the request, locate information linked to the verified interaction, and delete or anonymize it from active AutoChat records unless retention is required by law, needed for security or dispute resolution, or otherwise permitted by applicable law. Where an exception applies, the operator will explain it.

Requests are handled within the period required by applicable law. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups expire through their normal retention cycle.

Facebook controls

You can also stop messaging the connected Page, delete the conversation in Facebook or Messenger, or use your Facebook settings to remove app and business integrations where available. Actions in Facebook do not necessarily delete records that AutoChat must retain lawfully, so contact us directly if you want confirmation of an AutoChat deletion request.
